  • The Beverage KPI Dashboard Toolkit is a practical digital workbook designed to help bars, restaurants, hotels and beverage teams review beverage performance through sales, COGS, gross profit, variance and sales mix data.

It connects POS sales exports, inventory-based Actual COGS, item-level Theoretical COGS, KPI targets, category performance, price checks and prior-period comparisons in one structured dashboard.

  • You receive a complete beverage KPI dashboard toolkit with an Excel workbook, a Google Sheets import version, a PDF user guide and Google Sheets import instructions.

  • Many beverage programs look profitable from sales alone, but the real picture changes when Actual COGS, theoretical cost, variance and sales mix are reviewed together.

This toolkit helps you see where money is being made, where margin is leaking, which categories need attention and whether your data is reliable enough to support operational decisions.

  • You can use this toolkit to review weekly or monthly beverage performance, compare sales with inventory-based COGS, identify variance by category, monitor sales mix and prepare executive summaries for owners, managers or clients.

It is also useful for beverage audits, menu reviews, cost-control meetings, consulting projects, pricing checks, POS cleanup, period-over-period analysis and action planning for the following week or month.

  • Start in Setup by entering venue name, currency, reporting period, outlets, categories and KPI targets. Then paste POS sales data into Sales Data using date, item name, category, units and net sales.

Enter beginning inventory, purchases, transfers and ending inventory by category inside Inventory COGS. Add item-level cost per serve in Item Costing, or use the Pour Cost Translator to calculate cost per pour for spirits, wine, beer or other simple pours.

The Dashboard combines sales, Actual COGS and Theoretical COGS to calculate KPI cards, category performance, variance, sales mix, action priorities and Data Quality Score. Use POS Mapping to clean messy POS names, Bridge to compare periods and Print Summary to export a clean executive view.

  • Best for bar owners, beverage managers, general managers, hotel F&B teams, restaurant groups, head bartenders, consultants and operators who need a clearer view of beverage performance.

It is especially useful for venues that want to control COGS, understand variance, review category profitability, clean up POS data, prepare management reports and move from opinions to numbers in beverage decision-making.
