  • The Cocktail Batch Calculator Toolkit is a practical digital workbook designed to help bars, restaurants, hotels and beverage teams scale recipes, calculate batch yield and prepare production sheets with more consistency.

It connects planned volume, serving size, recipe quantities, expected loss, dilution, packaging cost, team fields, batch status and cost per serve in one structured file, so each batch can be prepared, checked, logged and repeated more clearly.

  • You receive a complete digital batch calculator toolkit with an Excel workbook, a Google Sheets import version, a PDF user guide and Google Sheets import instructions.

The workbook includes dedicated sections for Instructions, Team Setup, Batch Log, Batch Summary, Batch & Yield, Batch & Yield in oz, Print A4, Settings and internal lists.

It allows you to calculate planned batch volume, required base volume, scale factor, expected loss, net usable volume, real servings, leftover volume, dilution, ingredient cost, total batch cost, cost per ml, cost per liter and cost per serve.

  • Batching can quickly become inconsistent when every staff member scales recipes differently, estimates loss differently or writes production notes in different places. This creates waste, wrong yields, unclear handovers and inconsistent drinks during service.

This toolkit gives you a repeatable production system for batching drinks and prep components. It helps the team work from the same numbers, apply loss assumptions more consistently and create cleaner batch records for traceability and handover.

  • You can use this toolkit to scale cocktail batches, pre-batched drink bases, event batches, bottled serves, clarified drinks, pre-diluted cocktails, high-volume prep and recurring house recipes.

  • Start in Settings by choosing currency, print units and default expected loss. Then use Team Setup to define staff names, roles, stations, storage areas and container sizes used in your venue.

In the Batch & Yield sheet, enter the batch name, unit system, planned volume, serving size, expected loss, recipe ingredients, quantity used, volume contribution, unit cost and optional dilution. The workbook calculates prepared volume, net usable volume, real servings, leftover volume, scale factor, batch cost and cost per serve.

Use the Batch Log to save completed batches for traceability, the Batch Summary to review production KPIs and the Print A4 sheet to generate a clean production document for prep, labelling or team handover.

  • Best for cocktail bars, hotel bars, restaurants, event bars, beverage managers, head bartenders, prep leads, consultants and hospitality teams that batch cocktails or drink components regularly.

It is especially useful for venues that want more consistent prep, clearer batch records, better loss control, cleaner handovers and print-ready production sheets without using complex production software.
